Set up an indoor course on wood laminate floor?
January 18, 2009 – 12:46 amSomeone plans to set up an indoor course. And he wonders the course can be on wood laminate floor. In fact, wood laminate floor is not suitable for indoor course. There are 2 reasons as below:
1. There should be T-moulding or other accessories to separate wood laminate floor if its area is over 8*10 square meter. The tope of T-moulding will be a bit higher than the surface of wood laminate, which will make trouble for running racers. They will probably fall due to the T-moulding.
2. There should be track line on the indoor course. But wood laminate is easy to expand and “float” and contract due to the variety of damp and temperature. So it is very difficult to set track line on wood laminate floor.
